En mi viaje a Sevilla, cansada de ver mltiples souvenirs tpicos que no reflejan lo que quiero recordar del lugar al que voy, a parte de ser feos, la sorpresa que me llev cuando, mientras haca cola con una amiga para visitar la Casa de Pilatos decidimos ir a esta tienda. Haba postales que replicaban cuadros reales de Sevilla, imanes preciosos todo hecho a mano y me cost lo mismo o incluso menos que en los souvenirs. Profundamente recomendable y no, ni voy a comisin ni conozco a la dependienta (que por cierto era majsima)
What a shame. I walked by this little store months ago and have been meaning to find a moment to stop back. I finally found that moment this morning. Except when I reached forward to pick up a pair of earrings and show them to my husband, I was promptly stopped by the young saleslady. No touching the things in the window. I exclaimed, but we can't touch anything?, and she referred me to the other side of the store. How in the world a customer is supposed to buy something - especially pricey jewelry - without being allowed first to touch it is beyond me. I let her know that I had come to really spend some money. She told me, dryly, to have a good day. And we left. So buyers beware: a beautiful little store. Some nice azulejos, especially if you don't want to make the trip across the Triana bridge to get them at the ceramics factories there for a bit less. Some lovely jewelry. A nice collection of Joie d'Art pieces. But if I can't touch them, then I may as well buy them on the internet. A shame. I was looking forward to coming home with some new pieces this morning...Respuesta a la respuesta de la tienda: Muchas gracias por la respuesta. Explica mucho, gracias. Es una pena que no hayamos visto el cartelito que mencionas. No vimos nada al respecto. Y para ser sincera, ni me di cuenta de que fuese el escaparate; me pareca ms bien un estante. Yo entiendo perfectamente la poltica que explicas, aunque no me imagino que haya manera de vender pendientes sin que los clientes los toque primero. Pero ms que la poltica, era la manera seca y indirecta de la dependienta decrnoslo. Eramos los nicos en la tienda, no es que estuviera a reventar de gente o que tena que atender a otros. Podra habernos dicho simplemente que eso era el escaparate y mejor que coja ella las cosas de all. O habernos enseado el cartelito que mencionas. Pero no fue as. Era ms bien que nos ech de la tienda. Bueno, no bamos a hacer nada al escaparate. Era para coger un pendiente, nada ms. No bamos a desorganizar nada. No somos gente grosera. Hubiramos apreciado otro tono de voz, otra interaccin. Total. Tenis una tienda muy bonita. Seguro que tengis mucho xito. Pero esta maana perdisteis a dos nuevos clientes con muchas ganas de comprar. Las cosas no tenan que haber salido tal y como salieron.
Fantastic shop. I love the bright colourful ceramics. I've been to Sevilla twice now (2015 and 2017) and both times I have bought some ceramics from there as gifts. The lady in the shop is really friendly and very helpful. She also speaks better English than she thinks. She made me feel so welcome in her shop both times. When I come to Sevilla I will definitely be going back there.If the owner reads this this I am the British man who bought the plate and small case of multi coloured squares on Sunday 1st May.How can I contact you as I need to ask a question about the items I bought?? Tienda fantstica. Me encanta la cermica de colores brillante. He estado en Sevilla dos veces ahora (2015 y 2017) y ambas veces he comprado algunas cermicas a como regalos. La seora en la tienda es muy amable y muy servicial. Si el dueo lee esto yo soy el hombre britnico que compr la placa y florero pequeo de multi color plazas el domingo 1 de mayo.Cmo puedo contactarlos, necesito hacer una pregunta acerca de los productos que he comprado??
